Student of the Month and Other Student Honors and Achievements
Student of the Month for July 2008
Ariel Burde is July's Student of the Month. Ariel will be entering sixth grade at the BalaCynwydMiddle School where she was a part of her school's band. She was also a part of the school's play "Romeo and Harriot" where she played the lead roll of Harriot. Being an advanced member of her school band, she was asked to help out with the 4th grade band as well as participated in the instrumental demonstartions. She and a friend played their flutes for the French Festival. Ariel is a serious ballet student under Margarita de Saa and John White.She dances in the Pennsylvania Academy of Ballet performance of the Nutcracker every year.Prior to studying the flute she learned piano by the Suzuki method.When she is not dancing or playing music Ariel enjoys swimming and playing tennis.
